Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty (born October 1, 1995, on the streets of Berkeley California) is an actor. She's an actress well-known for her roles in Choices (2010, The Heart and Other Small Shapes, 2006) and Chrissie Mair's Content House, 2022.

Asia Argento is an Italian actor and filmmaker who is the daughter of a large family. She has also pursued film and acting. She made her film debut at the age of nine in the film of Sergio Citti, Sogni bisogni. At the age of eighteen she had become the main character of Cristina Comencini's Zoo and part of Michele Soavi's The Church. Red Wood Pigeon, the film she appeared in as Nanni Moretti's young daughter, came out a year after. It was Close Friends by Michele Placido which saw Asia's acting career begin to take off. This movie received a positive response at the Cannes International Film Festival. Her father was in the film for the the first time Trauma, a renowned Italian horror director Dario Argento. The mother of her, Daria Nicoleli, is Argento's favourite actress, and she played an anorexic seeking to locate her parents' killer. Asia was a part of Dario's Phantom of the Opera, the third film she directed together with her father. Other films were Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. In 1993, she starred alongside Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista. She performed the role of Arianna, a physically disabled girl. It was a complex, challenging role that won she the David di Donatello award for most outstanding actress. She also played an important role in the cast international for Queen Margot directed by Patrice Chereau. In 1995 she teamed up along with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte Compagna di viaggio and won the title of David di Donatello. Asia began her directing career in 1994, releasing two shorts and an episode from the movie De Generazione. In 1996, she produced an documentary on her father and AbelAsia, a film on the cult filmmaker Abel Ferrara. In 1998, Asia directed AbelAsia, which won awards by the Rome Film Festival. Asia started directing her first feature film in 1999, Scarlet Diva. In the film she also played the star and directed the script. The film was released May 20th, 2000 in Italy as well as in various other nations. The Williamsburg Film festival in Brooklyn, New York awarded it a award.
