Anne W. Burrell has been a chef and television host in America and a teacher at Institute of Culinary Education. Anne Burrell. Following her graduation with an English and Communications degree in Canisius College in Buffalo NY she pursued her passion for the industry of restaurants by registering as a student at The Culinary Institute of America. The Culinary Institute of America was an unforgettable experience for me. The Culinary Institute of the Americas was a fantastic location to learn. Following graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany as well as La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) during her time at Umbria. She also attended the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. While in Italy, Chef Burrell developed an appreciation for and understanding of Italian cuisine. It had a significant influence on her perception of food. Burrell is a well-known ambassador of the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She is a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which assists kids who have challenges. As a guest speaker and teacher she travels across the United States to discuss her passion for cooking as well as her professional career. Through her culinary adventures, Anne has often said that I am extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to share my passion for life with people.
